10 Clean Skin Care Brands You Didn't Know You Needed
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it a lot more – what we put on our body is just as important as what we put in it. I used to be the person using Jergens gradual face tanning lotion daily, and that’s all. And hey, it worked for me. But as I’ve become more health-conscious, I’ve become much more aware of what I’m putting on my skin. While I genuinely believe glowy, healthy skin starts from the inside; it’s important to know what is in the products we use on the outside. I’ve gathered a list of my favorite, and some fan-favorite, clean skincare brands & products.
Youth To The People
I have dry skin, and many people recommended YTTP Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask and wow. I slather this stuff on every night. I first tried YTTP about four years ago (S/O to my secret Santa). The Superberry Glow Oil was a constant in my VERY simple skincare routine.
Sunday Riley
This brand is new to me, someone who is definitely not a skincare guru, but I’ve heard amazing things. They never use parabens or artificial fragrances. We love Vitamin C, and most people love theirs. The Luna Sleeping Night Oil is also in my cart right now because of the major reviews.
Drunk Elephant
I am obsessed with all of their products, and I don’t say that too often about skincare. The Virgin Marula Oil is straight from Africa and so excellent for hydration. The Protini Polypeptide Cream has saved my skin from some very weird rashes. You can’t go wrong. I would 100% recommend these products to anyone. They even have body and hair products.
Necessaire
Okay, this one I need to get my hands on soon. I have seen Necessaire products everywhere and people I truly trust love them. These products are for your entire body, which we love because, as I mentioned in my last post, the skin is our largest organ. The Body Serum and Body Oil are both in my cart as I write this.
Summer Fridays
I just got the Jet Lag mask that everyone raves about… it’s so worth it. I have always brought along hydrating in-flight essentials but had never found one I loved. This is it. I felt so refreshed, and my skin felt baby soft after using it on my flight.
Kora Organics
Miranda Kerr has always been a girl crush of mine. She’s beautiful, strong, and is all about health and wellness. I was so happy to see her launch her clean product line. Try the Turmeric Glow moisturizer asap.
Osea
Their products are vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably made. Not to mention organic and natural. Osea has many earthly products to nourish your skin and sustain the planet.
Weleda
Another eco-friendly brand with exceptional products. I first received their travel size products as a birthday gift about three years ago and was hooked. I love the Cleansing Gel (and I don’t even wash my face) and the original Skin Food.
Sephora Collection
For budget-friendly clean skin care you can head straight to the Sephora Collection section. These products are very similar to some fan-favorites but at a much nicer price point. The Nourishing Moisturizer is wonderfully hydrating and only $17. The Clarifying Peel Pads also deserve a spot on your skincare shelf.
Farmacy
Farmacy isn’t just good for your skin, it’s good for the environment too. They are committed to sustainability with 100% zero waste packaging and responsible sourcing. Everyone raves about the Honey Potion mask and Clean Bee cleanser.
